Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information bestofnow.ai (“bestofnow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Best of Now, collects when you use our website and newsletter (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. We built the Service to be privacy-first: we collect as little as possible, we do not build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not sell your personal information.
The short version
- You don’t need an account to read the site.
- The only personal information we ask for is your email address, and only if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter.
- We measure how the site is used with privacy-first, aggregate analytics — not to identify you.
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t build individual advertising profiles.
1. Information you give us
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, your email address, and whatever you write in your message, so we can reply. That’s the only personal information we ask you for.
2. Information collected automatically
When you visit the Service, we collect anonymous, aggregate information about how the site is used — such as which pages are viewed, which tools are clicked through to, and what is searched for on the site. This information is collected in a form that does not identify you: we do not store your IP address, your name, or any identifier that follows you across sessions. We use it to understand trends across all visitors, not to profile you individually.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- send you the newsletter you subscribed to;
- operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
- understand, in aggregate, which content is useful; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We keep cookies to a minimum. Our analytics are privacy-first and, where possible, cookieless — meaning we can measure aggregate usage without placing tracking cookies on your device or asking you to accept a cookie banner.
Our contact form uses a bot-protection check provided by Cloudflare (Turnstile). It runs only on the contact page, does not set cookies on bestofnow.ai, and is not used to track you across sites. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie on its own challenge domain while the check runs.
If we later display third-party advertising (see Section 6), those partners may set their own cookies; that section explains your choices.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. We use trusted third parties to run the Service on our behalf — for example, the provider that sends our newsletter (Mailchimp), the provider that delivers contact-form messages to our inbox (Resend), the provider that checks contact-form submissions for bots (Cloudflare), our website host, and our analytics provider. They may process information only to provide their service to us.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Best of Now or others.
- Business transfer. If the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Third-party links, affiliate links, and advertising
The Service links to third-party tools and websites. When you follow a link, you leave our Service, and the destination site’s own privacy policy governs your information there. Some links are affiliate links, and the destination may record that you arrived from us so we can be credited for a referral.
If we display advertising from third-party partners (such as Google), those partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads. You can learn about and control personalized advertising through those partners’ settings and through industry opt-out tools. Displaying such ads may change the cookie and consent picture described in Section 4.
7. Data retention
We keep your newsletter email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Aggregate usage data is kept for as long as it is useful for understanding trends; because it is anonymous, it is not tied to you. Messages sent through the contact form are not stored on the site; they are delivered to our inbox by email and kept as ordinary business correspondence for as long as needed to respond and keep a record of it.
8. Your choices and rights
- Newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
- Access and deletion. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you — which, for most readers, is just a newsletter email address if you subscribed — and ask us to delete it.
- Regional rights.Depending on where you live — for example, California, or the EEA or the UK — you may have additional rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its use. To exercise any of these, use our contact form.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on the Service.
